It’s been a bit remiss of me not to have *ever* been in contact with you , firstly to thank you for your interest in my work and secondly, to keep you up to date with what I’ve been up to – assuming you’re interested that is. 🙂
It has to be said that, during the pandemic, collaboration has been the keyword for me. I joined forces with two people – both of whom I met online on an alternative social media network called Mastodon.
One of these was a musical venture and you can find the fruits of our joint labour on Bandcamp here.
It’s a bit of a departure from my former ambient period, but I really enjoyed the change. It also features a fair amount of spoken work stuff.
I used to do voiceovers for a while and in fact, my preferred instrument is the human voice. There’s also one track on this album where I sing. I have to say it’s not sung in a way that I would normally sing due in part to the fact that I didn’t write the song in question!
The second project involves narrating some rather unusual detective stories loosely based on Holmes and Watson but far more surreal, as you’ll discover if you care to listen.
So far, we have a couple of audiobooks on Bandcamp which are free / pay what you want..
We also have a weekly podcast on the go, here:

And what am I currently up to musically? I’m collaborating with someone who I used to write songs with some 30 years ago – a fine jazz guitarist from Jersey.
What are we working on? Songs! That’s how I started off in music, as a ‘singer songwriter’, and that’s where the spiral of life has lead me back to..
